USMasters Divers Ron Kontura, of West Point NY, and Helen Bayly of Troy NY, were seen in Arizona March 2012.....were these New Yorkers trying to escape upstate NY winter weather?
 
Both Masters divers Ron Kontura and Helen Bayly met during March in Tucson AZ, at the Univerity of Arizona's Kasser and Hillenbrand pools. Ron was judging and coaching at the 3-day 2012 USA Diving Spring Region 9 Championships; Helen was training with the UAz Masters swim program while visiting her family in Tucson. The Region 9 meet director was Dr Michele Mitchell, who in May 2009 welcomed our own US Masters Diving Nationals Championships as the very first meet on the brand-new Kasser Pool's boards and platforms. Ron and Helen were both at that historic meet in 2009; they plan to see all you Masters divers at Nationals in North Carolina this spring !
