The diving championships portion was held June 30th thru July 3rd. There were over 166 registered entrants, with a slightly smaller number actually participating,102 men and 59 women. Germany and Great Britain had the most entrants. Adrian Hinchcliffe was the meet coordinator. Ricky Wood was the meet director, ably assisted by a wonderful staff. Birger Kivela was the head referee.
